Interior Layout and Options
The new XC60 is quite luxurious, even in entry-level trims. Leather and Nappa leather upholstery are available; the entry-level trims have leather and Leatherette coverings. There’s a centre armrest for the front and rear seats. The front seats have five power adjustments, memorized and lumbar tilts.
There’s also a leather-covered multi-function steering wheel with telescopic and height adjustments. There’s ambient light, which has a colour selection for the B6 AWD Ultimate Dark trim and above. There’s plenty of cargo capacity across the entire lineup: 613L with rear seats in place and 1,410L when they are folded down.
Exterior Layout and Options
All options have front fog lights, low beams, daytime running lights, rear lights, high beams, and LED brake lights. The windshield has wipe and rain sensors, while the rear window has an intermittent wiper and a defroster. There are also heated power-folding exterior mirrors with auto-dim.
The B6 AWD Plus Dark comes with black trim around the side windows, all-season 235/55/H tires, and 19 x 8.0” wheels. Upper trims can opt for slightly bigger 20 x 8.0” wheels and chrome or bright trim for the side windows; the flagship model has 21 x 8.0” wheels. The T8 eAWD has four disc brakes, painted callipers, toned roof rails, pearl paint, and all-season tires.
Technology, Infotainment, and Connectivity
All models have a 9.0-inch touchscreen display with 3D and an HDD navigation system. The colour screen comes with Google Maps navigation. The sound system includes 10 speakers, internet radio, CD and DVD players, high-performance sound, and an MP3-compatible audio player. There’s also a multi-functional 12.3-inch display with an instrument panel and a wireless charging pad.
All trims have an internet connection and a Wi-Fi network. Other convenient tech features include a trip computer with average speed, fuel economy, and current fuel range. The ventilation system includes an automatic recirculation CleanZone Air, a cabin filter, and a directional headlight with dusk sensors.
Safety and Driver-Assistant Features
Volvo has a tradition of manufacturing safe vehicles, and the 2023 XC60 lineup isn’t an exception. The long list of safety features includes six airbags, including front side airbags, head restraints for front and rear seats, and front and rear seat belts with pretensioners for all passengers.
As for driver’s assistants, all trims have electronic traction control, electronic brake distribution, DSTC stability control, blindspot monitoring and information system, tire pressure monitoring, and collision mitigation. Also, there’s a lane departure warning, lane-keeping aid, traffic sign recognition, parking assistance, and a trailer stability program.
Trims from the B6 AWD Plus Bright and above have active lane control and autonomous drive 2, a 360-degree view camera, and front and rear radars.
